THe old oak coffeehouse
Niwot’s coziest coffeeshop
Here at the Old Oak, our homemade goodies are family recipes, staff creations, customer suggestions, and everything in between. We enjoy putting a little piece of our stories into everything we bake. From Hannah’s grandma’s banana bread recipe, to Michael’s secret family spaghetti recipe, everything is made and served with a little extra love.
In addition to homemade items, we also offer a selection of locally made selections as well. We serve delicious danishes and croissants from Spruce Confections in Boulder, gluten free breads from Dan, a local baker, and many more!
Not to fear, we offer several alternative milks and foods with several dietary restrictions in mind. Come find your new favorite treat today!

The Old Oak Coffeehouse was opened in July of 2017, by Boulder locals Michael Tomich and Patty Machen. They wanted to create something that would offer the community all the things they loved about coffee shops: a warm, inviting space in which to slow down, gather, be surrounded by art, music, good coffee and simple but delicious food.
They found the opportunity to do just that in the lovely and quaint old town of Niwot, Colorado and decided to make a u-turn from their long-time careers as teachers and dive into the creation of this shop!
